Presenters: Sonya Martinez-Ortiz LCSW and Yvette González Coronado LCSW

This presentation will introduce a reflexive practice rooted in the knowledge and wisdom of our grandmothers through the integration of traditional healing practices. The objective is to engage participants in a culturally-grounded experiential process. This is a non-traditional approach within the western scientific community, but culturally informed practice within the Latinx community. The presentation will involve co-creation of community agreements, ancestral meditation, linkage to FMT, trauma-informed practices, and an exploration of ancestral wounds, wisdom, gifts, and medicine through discussion.
